For the 2019 admissions cycle, we’d like to give a big shout out to Aishwarya Airy who has gained admission into the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She has been admitted to the MSc in Journalism program for Fall 2019, with a specialisation in Politics, Policy and foreign affairs. She has also been awarded a scholarship of $25,000.

A graduate in History from Lady Shri Ram College, Aishwarya has worked at prominent media networks like the Times of India and CNN. She has also supported the socio-economic development of marginalised groups in India, be it through her initiatives in Nukkad Natak/Street Plays or her work with the Bakarwal community in Kashmir.
